Clearing School Lunch Debt to Help Every Child Succeed

The School Lunch Crisis

30.4 million US students can’t afford their school meals.
43% of school districts reported increasing numbers of students who can’t afford meals.
Midwest states have among the highest reported unpaid meal debt (88.1%)
Student meal debt in Missouri has reached almost $44 million
Student meal debt in Kansas reached about $23.5 million

When families can’t pay for meals served, schools are forced to use education funds to cover the losses, resulting in the loss of education resources for all students.

Success! March Madness Trivia Night Fundraiser

Our very first fundraising event, March Madness Trivia Night, was a slam dunk! The event was hosted in collaboration with Becks Place in Overland Park and raised over $1,000.

We're proud to share that proceeds were donated to Apache Elementary School in the Shawnee Mission School District to help eliminate student lunch debt balances — making a meaningful impact on local families.
